These parts are from a 1989 American Standard Jazz “Longhorn” or “Boner” bass and are appropriate for the 1989-1993 22-fret Jazz models.

    Thanks for looking.

Is there something special/different about this particular Pick guard?

Yes, it is a different size/shape than most Jazz pickguards. It will only fit ‘89-‘93 American Standard “Longhorn” Jazz basses (those models have full 22-fret necks set a little further into the body, a slightly extended upper horn, and a slightly deeper lower cutaway to allow better access to the upper frets).

Thanks for the explanation. I don’t have any need for a pick guard that will only fit 89-93 American Standard “Longhorn” Jazz Basses, but GLWTS.
