This was my main bass for about 8 years. It was gigged a lot but always cared for and well maintained.

I have tried to photograph as much as possible but please let me know if you need to see more pictures or want specific detail.

    The good.

This thing is stunning. The clear finish over wenge and purpleheart is absolutely beautiful.

The neck is also beautiful and lighting fast to play. The finish is flawless. The fretboard is also flawless and the frets and in excellent condition. Only the smallest amount of wear.

All hardware is in excellent condition and working perfectly.

    The not so good.

The body has some wear. The are a few dings, mainly on the hard edges, but they are barely noticeable. There is one spot the on the body where there was a ding that was repaired. There are also a couple of spots around the bridge where the finish is aging and starting to separate a little from the body. It’s not bad, I just want to be transparent as possible.

The electronics are in good condition. The only real issue is the wiring on the battery box might need a desolder.

The pickups also have some string wear.

Wow very nice... what bridge spacing/nut width?

Looks like 8mm/nut and 18mm/bridge. Measured between the strings not at the string center.

20mm was the bridge spacing (between string centers), but the saddles have rollers on them that allow for some adjustment...these basses are amazing..

Now that is a cool and interesting Curbow! Being a semi hollow body makes it quite unique and I'm sure helps with the overall weight (Rockwood neck and brass tone block under bridge) of the instrument which, could be a issue with some players despite its body size. My Curbow weighs in at 10+ lbs if I recall correctly. I would love to compare it to my 95 IEP carved top.
Its got the PU mounting screws threw the back as opposed to the standard front on the later builds which I also like.
If this were 4 stringer it would be gone already! If anyone has or knows of a 4 string that's for sale please PM me and let me know.
This bass should not be here for long!
