Remember, this is you riding miles and miles, not me... if we were in Italy, I'd make your bunk...

    ... or something like that.

  10. well, if i had to do this for every amazon purchase, I’d be in a lot better shape than I am now. Definitely some potential here:)

Could mean many things, but most likely just a nice way of saying that it is shipped the cheapest way possible.

    Hilarious.

There's FSC certified packaging which loosely means the material (only) is procured from sources who are investing in renewable or rapidly renewable growth.
There's sustainable which can mean different things depending on the context. If the truck uses diesel but the trucking company offsets their carbon footprint by either generating distributed energy for their office space or paying a small premium to their other utility to support aggregated solar or wind generation that legally counts.
If I had to bet, I'd bet it refers to the packing material. Corrugated packaging can be easily made using recycled materials, bamboo or hemp or other natural fibers that grow quickly enough to qualify as rapidly renewable, or it could mean they just dump the box full of starch based compostable packing foam.

I'm not in the packaging industry but I do sometimes deal with logistics for LEED and GBI projects so I have to be able to accept these terms. If you get it and tell me the labels on the box or invoice I can tell you what they really mean.

And also the reality is they might just want you to feel good that 1% of their electric bill helps fund biofuel research. It really can mean a lot of different things.
