No longer available '02 Fender Made In Japan, '75 Reissue Jazz Bass Body @ 4lbs 11oz. Partially loaded w/EMGs or no EMG

I got this body from the Stratosphere a few months ago. Then I happened upon a US made 1975 body. So to keep the herd trimmed down, I am considering letting go of this one. Its a GREAT weight and even with the pickups, hardware and neck with Nickel tuning machines, the total weight was about 8.5 lbs, which is about 2 lbs lighter than ALL of my other Fender basses.

Has EMG Active Jazz Bass pickup set (one old and one new logo), EMG VLF Active Tone Control Circuit, 75 MIJ pickguard, and 3 bolt neck plate w/screws. What you see, is what you get. No Bridge, No Strap Buttons, No Pickup Cover. No Control Knobs

All of the issues with the body, were the way they were from Stratosphere. I did add 2 bridge cover holes, but they are just for a visual. The cover would not work with my Leo Quan BadAss II bridge. Mostly typical, aging Fender things, dings and chips here and there, hairline finish cracks at the neck heel.

This is a Japanese Reissue 3 Bolt system. So there is no quirky disc plate or larger bolt that needs to be used. Its simply a 3rd screw hole, like the Made In Japan, Marcus Miller Signature Jazz Bass. The cool part is, it does allow for the Micro Tilt adjustment screw to be used for neck angle versus using a shim. Therefore, it should be able to be used with any Fender, or Fender style neck that has a headstock Truss Rod adjustment set up. There is a guy on Reverb selling 2 necks for this style body but In My Opinion, they are outrageously priced @ $575.00. You could easily find a Made In Mexico Reissue Jazz Bass neck with the bullet truss rod for a lot less. I've got $400 + shipping into this. Selling for $350 shipped Continental US. Or $285 for the body, pickguard and neck plate. I paid more than that for just the body :-/
