'08 Rickenbacker 4003 Fireglo - Toronto

    This is a near-mint (and I do mean "mint") condition 2008-built Rickenbacker 4003 bass in Fireglo finish. Absolutely pristine. Its unbelievably light for a Rickenbacker (~8lbs?) and is drop dead gorgeous. It has had a vintage "toaster" neck pickup professionally installed for that dead-on Beatles' 65-69 sounds. The original neck pickup is included. Comes with the Rickenbacker hardshell case and all the case candy. Recently strung with LaBella flats ($50) which allows that unforgettable Sgt. Pepper/Magical Mystery bass sound.

    I bought this a while ago to play with a now-defunct Beatles-tribute group and just holding and playing this bass was incredible. As with every fantastic instrument, it is always so hard to say goodbye...but VISA has no sympathy.
