1/4 inch adaptor

    Can anyone tell me if i can use a double female 1/4 inch adaptor to daisey chain 2 speakers with single inputs?

    Or can someone direct me to a thread to convert a single input cab.

  2. Doc, the simple answer is yes you can. You will have to keep in mind the ohmage of your cabinets though. If I read your post correctly, you will be making a parallel connection to your amp. That will take the impedence of 2 - 8 ohm cabinets down to 4 ohms total load. That is probably OK for most amps but make sure the cabinets aren't lower impedance. You might do damage to your amp.

    I know for a fact that there are some other guys here that will give you a better answer AND be able to explain the math better.

    Thanks Ham, they are both 8 ohm cabs so no worries. I just wanted to know if the signal would get through.
