That's sweet, man. Is that a kit, or did you find the parts (or build 'em) yourself?

Post mp3's when she's finished, Novus!!!!!

See if you can find narrow diameter latex/silicone surgical tubing - I like it so much better than the foam.

Just a 1/2" to 3/4" length on the screws twix body and pups...

Stew Mac and All Parts both have it.

  6. What do the knobs and switches do?

    Instead of sponges,
Try killing some bic retractible pens and taking the springs.
    Put one around each screw.

No, but it wouldn't work for me. The problem is, I rest my thumb on the pickup, and those little tiny springs would probably give enough the pickup would move around and creak while I played. Much heavier duty springs would work great, but they are very hard to find. Maybe springs from Radio Control cars/planes of some kind. remember, they don't have to go around the screws, either. One at each end of the pickup would also work (as in an improvement to the foam). IMHO.

BTW, awesome lookin' bass, dude. I'd really like to hear mp3's of it when done.

Excellent! Very striking bass. Did it come pre-routed and finished?
