Does anyone know of any power amps that are only 1 rack space? I'm looking for something around $500 and below, and 300 watts+ at 8ohms per side. That's what I'd like however if there isn't anything at 300 watts maybe less would be ok. I'd like it to be within that price range.
Everything that I've seen that meets your minimum requirements is going to cost you more money. Now Peavey use to make an amp called the DPC 1000 that has what you're looking for. You may be able to find one used for $500.00 or less. Other than that it may be somewhat difficult to find something that fits your description. I'm sure that there are some others that may have some insight.
I've got a Stewart World 1.2 and 250, and love 'em both. so easy to carry around and dead quiet. i'm ebaying a 600 if you're interested. do a search, and it'll pop up! The peavey DPC1400x isnt bad at all. pretty nice. but the fan does get annoying when recording.
