10 or 12 inch speakers

    :bassist: Hello, was just wondering, for slapping and popping (on the bass) which speakers give you a tighter sound? Thanks!

    10's are what you want for slap & pop. Faster response, more punch, the 12's would be more mellow.

    There are exceptions, but in general, I prefer both. Mixing 10's and 12's has worked well for me, in general.
