    Hi guys,

I'm curious if anyone here know the source of the 8 extra bars of piano intro that are in some of the Bottesini Concert editions, like my French Billaudot Edition, edited by Jean-Marc Rollez. I've also seen it in an old Hungarian copy of the manuscript, but the man who showed me the copy said that the person who'd copied it (from the manuscript in Parma) hadn't composed the intro himself, but he also didn't know where it had come from.

There's also the question of the extra two bars in the third movement (bar 183 and 184 in my edition are exactly the same as bars 181 and 182, and this repeat doesn't occur in other editions).

I hope someone can enlighten me!
    thanks, Nienke
