Arrgghhhh matey! Pass me the bottle of rum.

Dell has a new PC right now for $350....go buy it, all 12 problems solved just like that. Don't give me the "I can't afford it" line either. It will cost over $350 to have someone fix your current computer.

  5. Now that would be stupid.

Yeah! What kind of moron would pay for something like music? Downloading at home is way easier than trying to stuff those CD holders in your pants and sneaking by the cashier!

Ummm no I do not pay for music downloads. Why? cause thats stupid!! Yet at the same time its smart to make a buck. Know what I'm saying?
I don't own a Ipod, a minidisc player or an mps player. I download songs then I go buy something that todays youth has somehow forgotten about. Its a thin disc called a CD. half of my 200 mps I have are downloaded for my cd collection. The other 50% is a mix of downloads and sharing with a few of my friends.

Me being a youth just makes me some evil person who speads his night downloading music. You know I probly listen to Simple Plan and play my bass with pick while jaming on the G note right? I must be spoild to no end. I must have no knowledge of how the real world works. I'm blind to everything but my own little word right? Anything thats not me I don't care about. I have to be a slacker. I have to have a skate bored. Or I die my stupid hair and have stupid ear hole things.

Then me saying all this makes me some dark and twisted goth kid? or some cry baby emo kid?

    Right?

That's not true, Toasted. You care about Nickthebassist. ;)

  14. IMO, the whole point of downloading is that it's free: that way you know if the music you downloaded is good enough to spend money on. Also, it enables you to listen to music until you get the cd. Of course, if I could afford to pay for everything I wanted to check out, I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

But that's an entirely different topic. (or not?)

    1) you steal music, you deserve the viruses you get

    2) if you want to listen before you buy, get rhapsody or itunes - you don't have to steal to get music

I download...The thing is it's either songs from albums I already have or albums I plan to buy.

Also mp3's can't harbor any viruses or spyware. It's usually WMV's or some program you already have.

What happened to the days of hearing a song on the RADIO and then going out and buying the album? Am I that old(33), that people no longer do that?

Don't start with the "that's only one song" line....radio stations have been known to play more than one song from a band. I know, hard to believe, but it happens.

OP....dude, I am so sorry for hi-jacking this thread.
