12 string short scale vs 12 string conversion

    Would playing a 12 string short scale be easier and less expensive or would converting an 8 or 6 string be the better option. I'm a large fan of chords by the way

    If scale length is the issue, and you work better with a shorty, I 'd buy the short 12ver. Otherwise you 're into a bit of a DIY project converting an 8 or 6 to a 12 and that's not something I'd want to tackle. Buy one that's already there, they can be fairly cheap.
