14 String?

    Don't hate me or laugh at this thread, I'm serious. :bag:

    Last night I had a dream that I found a bass. I believe it was a Conklin with 14 strings. It was one of those octave things like the 12 string guitars and the 8 string basses, the only diffrernce is that it had 7 sets of strings.

    Tell me, has anyone seen one of these ever?

    Do you mean like the 8 and 12 strings that just use doublt the strings EE AA DD GG? Or am i missing something?

    I think he means a 7 string with octive strings.....so a 14 string

    yea, it uses the doubled string bb ee aa... idea, anyone ever seen one?
