If you want to use 2 speakers, than I would recommend 8 ohm speakers and stay with more standard connections so you don't damage your amp. If you can live with 1 speaker, than 4 ohms is fine.

The alternative is to get an amp that can drive 2 ohm loads safely, then you can drive 2 x 4 ohm speakers using the standard parallel connection.

I've got a music room full of amps .
I was just trying to figure out a way of of putting the little TC to good use instead of carrying 3 sessions 500 / 2 Nashville 1000 / Nashville 112 around.
My old back won't take it anymore more lol.

Exactly. Your already hauling one cab and TC amp, your willing to build another cab and haul that. What's adding the 1 extra pound of another TC amp to make everything work out for your intended purpose?

The manual explains what's going on with loads and impedance. The only catch is your amp will not be as loud on paper but with a second speaker the difference may not be too noticeable. Unless you're already at the volume limits of the Bam this is the safest way to achieve what you want.

What about taking on an apprentice? Good pedal steel players are always in demand.

You get an amp hauling, cable wrapping, string changing, understudy. The kid gets the keys to the kingdom. I'd even make him or her the designated driver.

Now your chauffeur drops you at the door, and while you have a cold one and chat up the bartender, our promising pedal steel student schleps the classic Peaveys, pedal steel and throne, sets it all up and tunes.

No more holding it till the end of a set. Wave the kid up and head off for a pee break knowing the show is going on just fine.

What else should i look for ?

Same model numbers, that way they have the same TS parameters and therefore the cabinet tunings will be the same.

You should learn a little bit about how speakers work and what TS parameters are before building a cabinet (or two).

I'm 69 years old and to old to learn anything about electronics at this age.
That's why I got on here to ask questions and get ideas front you guys .
Now if you wanna talk about anything mechanical I'm pretty much up to speed on that topic.
