Never tried guts on her, but the previous owner, who was a big guy, played jazz gigs all over northern NE with it.

  11. Bumping system has changed since a membership is required in all Classifieds (BG and DB).
Replying to a thread doesn't bump it anymore.
To bump a thread, you must be the thread creator, have your supporting membership active and have to hit a dedicated button.

BUMP TO THE TOP! (at last)

  14. What's the rib depth at the button and before the taper?

Also, how tall are you, and what's your wingspan?

    Thanks a lot!

Ribs are 7” at neck, just under 9 at deepest part of UB, and 9 at LB
I’m just over 5’9”, and just under 72” wingspan.
I own a big Prescott also, but it doesn’t present same problems for me.
I think if I were taller,it would not be an issue. Certainly sounds and plays great. No fun to carry, for sure.

To be clear, I can play it, and did for a couple years.
And I really enjoyed the way it played and sounded.
But incipient degradation of cartilage in joints leads me to think more comfortable options are better for the continuation of my career, long term.
