1890s Bohemian/German double bass

    Circa 1890s, Bohemian/German make, gamba corner, round back all carved solid woods. Measurements of overall length and width make it a 7/8 size bass but has 3/4 size scale length.
    Action is low, 3/8" on top G string at end of fingerboard. New Obligato's, new Dresdan bridge with pickup & new soundpost. No open cracks or seams. New tail pin. Sustains for ever. Low end sonic boom will trip motion-sensor lights :)
    Asking only $2800.
    I live close to Owen Sound in Ontario. May be able to assist with delivery to Toronto/Burlington area. Thanks for looking.

    Hi, just a few questions:
    Does the bass have any health issues? cracks? Does the bass have a finish on it, or is it naked?

    Hi, thanks for your interest. The bass has no open cracks or seams. I does have a finish coat on it.
