    G.A. Pfretschner 3/4 string bass circa 1920 made in Germany.
    Hand carved top of even grained spruce and is cut with gamba corner. The top and back are purfled. The round back is made
    of well flamed maple. The neck is original and is made of lightly flamed maple. The neck accommodates an ebony fingerboard. There is a new adjustable bridge, David
    Gage pickup, and Spirocore strings. Work performed by David Gage Shop in New York City. The string length is approximately 41.5" This deep, rich sounding bass which has a beautiful pizz sound and an incredible bowed sound is currently appraised at $14,000. Selling price: $8000 (willing to negotiate). The buyer would be responsible for all shipping and handling charges.
