Parting with my Kay bass after a wonderful relationship. I've just acquired a new bass that fits my current needs and I just can't afford to keep the Kay.

This one is ready for the gig, not the shop. Pro set-up here in Chicago by Mark Sonsken (www.sonksenstrings.com). Has a new bridge with adjusters, Thomastik strings, even fingerboard, etc. The common neck heel crack was expertly repaired and hasn't budged.

Compared to other Kays I've played I'd say this one has slightly more clarity to the tone but it still has a warm sound.

Photos and more info are now at: http://home.attbi.com/~bobplaysbass/kay.htm

Buyer arranges any shipping. I will meet someone 1/2 way if they're in the region.
