I can verify that this is an all original 1960 P Bass, so you should buy it.
I'm on it. It might almost be worth the $35 in the one-in-a-billion chance it is some kind of old Fender, so if anyone has ever seen that pickguard on a Fender, let me know.
its got a badass II bridge and a hardcase... well worth the 35 bucks and with some talking you can probably have it for 30...
buy it... those white pickups maybe in a long shot might be old dimarzios considering how old and beatup this bass looks... could be a good place to start a project
:O :O :O
the hardcase is worth more than that alone
This guy looks legit.
Looks to me like a Japaneese copy of some sort, maybe with a Fender neck and badass bridge.
someone do it
Doubt its fender, the bridge is worth 35$ to me.
Yeah... it's a 1960 Fender Pbass.. I remember playing that exact same bass once when I was up they way.. So go ahead and get it, I can vouch for it. Besides.. this guy sounds TOTALLY credible to me, very probable just a very modest Fender expert who just wants to give someone a great deal.
Actaully that thermometer case is pretty cool. Buy it, sell off the BAII for 50 bucks, and come out smelling like a rose.
good deal... bad advertising!
I wonder what the routing looks like under that 'guard.
Badass, pair of DiMarzio model J, hard case and a heating wood for free.
A steal for $35.
If I was in the area, I'd buy it just for laughs and at worst end up with a pile o' parts.
It actually resembles the "Lead Bass" that Fender made for a very brief time in the late 70's early 80's.
so its not a fender? lol. sorry my fender history is pretty limited to the 80s and on.
