    Not dreaming if it is 100% and great shape, that is about the correct market value.
    Not that this is one, but custom color slab J's go much higher than that... much higher.

    I've think I've seen that pic before however, this just may be a scam.

    I know the guy,,,,, That will be the real deal.He offered me that price last year. So it has to be over priced now.

  4. I have yet to see someone pay that for a Vintage Jazz. Not saying there are not people that can and possibly do.

    I personally would not unless it was a real,real special one, but 60-62's in real good shape are in that snack bracket regularly. Take a visit one day to a guitar show one day and see some of the craziness that goes on <grin>.

    If that is the case, then he wouldn't be considered a "commercial user" if he listed the bass for sale on TB.

    Personally speaking, for that price, I would rather have 4 or 5 1965/66 Fender basses.
