    I recently purchased a nice Sunburst 1965 P Bass for $4000 so I didn't think that $4000 for a 1964 Refin sounded totally hot. Sweet looking bass though.

    Seems like a bad deal to me. An unknown number of unoriginal parts, and refins.

    This bass was on ebay a couple of weeks ago, so you can search completed listings and see some better pictures. If I recall, I'm pretty sure the logo is not original. It should be a spaghetti in early 64. My 64 is a March stamp and still has the spaghetti. Anyway, in my humble opinion this would be a killer deal if it was more like $2500.
