I took great pains in assembling this...it is unreal and the best jazz I have EVER owned or played. I am selling because I just don't play jazzes and when I do, I grab my active 74. This is THE pre CBS feel neck and is just to die for... and under 9 pounds!! Here are the specs:

Neck: Apr. 65 refinished so long ago that that's worn off also(and nitro). Thin, Straight, refretted and the truss is basically flush with the wood (very rare). It just doesn't get any better than this neck. Decal is of course not original, but period correct and original hardware.

Body: 66 lake placid blue nitro and again...refinished so long ago that it's almost worn off as well. The bridge and pick gaurd are also the real deal.

Pickups: One orignal 66(neck) and one original 1970 (bridge), neither have been rewound and both are stong and sound KILLER.

Pots and Plate: Fender Custom Shop

Case: Non original 70's hardshell tolex in good condition.

I have played all kinds of vintage Fenders...this is the best I have ever played, and I wish jazzes do it for me. I have finally made the decision to let her go and pay some bils. If you are a 60's jazz nut...look no further.

    Trades plus cash considered.

    ******SOLD!!******

    Thanks!

I just made a trade to get my 63P back and I have another Bluesman Vintage coming in...so I really am not looking for much unless you have a Les Paul oversized goldtop maybe. Any vintage stuff and the key phrase (plus cash)...I would listen to. If someone maybe had a early 70's P or J...I would think about it. Most things though...I would most likely have to turn around and sell. The point of letting this go is to pay some things off...it's just too nice to let go of and not meet my objectives lol. I will listen to whatever though.

If that neck plays as well as my "I never should have sold my '65 Jazz" did, you WILL NOT find a better playing neck at any price from any source. Mine was LPB when I got it, too, and in about that condition. In late '70 I paid $75 for it with the OHSC.

    Wish I had the cash.

iJazz - Because Jazzes are the best.

  18. Dude - You're killing me. Do I have to buy another one of your guitars? This one is truly awesome! You've got some great instruments, that's for damn sure. Trying to resist seeing as I just remodled the dang kitchen. Should've left it as was and taken this straight away. Awesome bass!
