I bought this amp from Bruce at Fliptops earlier this year, and built the cabinet using a `65 B15 double baffle cab as a guide. I covered the cab using black check tolex and SouthCo latches for the lid. The cab has dovetail construction and a brand new Eminence Delta 15" speaker. I made a cover out of the extra tolex. The chrome on the amp is very pitted and some of the silk screen graphics are gone. The knobs are`nt original and the lucite plate is a reproduction. The volume pot for channel 2 has been changed out at one point. That`s the bad, the good is this amp sounds and performs wonderfully. The tubes are all strong, the rectifier tube is an NOS 5AR4 Hewlett Packard from the early 60`s that I replaced when I got the amp. The 6SL7 preamp tubes seems to be original, but tests strong. The amp has had a recent cap job, not by me, and was gone over by my amp guy where he gave it a good bill of health. I`ve been gigging this amp for the last few months and it has performed flawlessly. At 50 watts, that’s 15 more than a B15, but the same size as one. I overbuilt the cab using 11 ply void free plywood with no buzzes or rattles. I`m using the money from the sale of this to fund another restoration project, so no trades please. Please ask any further questions. $1000 Because of the high cost of shipping, I would be willing to meet halfway in the western Washington area. Otherwise, I will ship the amp and cab in separate boxes. Buyer pays shipping. Enough of the talking, here are some pictures!
