A buddy of mine got ahold of an old ampeg, says he's dated it to 1967, says it has the SVT look, but only has 2 6L6 power tubes. anyone have any idea what model amp this is?

He's supposed to be sending me pics, was just curious if anyone knew of this amp, and if they could tell me anything about it.

    Thanks

    Most likely a 100 watt B2B model.

Got a pic? Sounds like a B-15 to me.

thanks, I'll look closer at it as soon as he gets me the pictures...

Any idea what something like that is worth? or the matching 8x10?

    Matching 810? Then it can't be a B-15.

I can't verify that it's a matching 8x10, but just what I was told... he may be wanting to get rid of it, and thought I'd check into it to see if I'd be interested or not. ;) he hasn't given me a price, you guys know what these things are worth? what a fair price for one would be?

IMO, if it has its original cab, it's probably a large 2x15.
those are 55 watt heads and sound great. they just don't have much headroom before they start distorting.
