Okay, GAS has gotten the best of me.
I'm going to relist this bass, FOR Sale Only.

I love this bass. Aside from the Refinish, it's all original. the neck has not be resprayed, it's still all stock.

Here's the sad story, This used to be a Blue Flower Power 68 Tele bass. The previous owner told me, that when he received it, the finish was stripped, so he had it professionally refinished.
When the luthier pulled out the string ferrules, bits of flower wallpaper were still in there.
I also have the original clear pickguard as well, signifying that it was one of the hippy wallpaper basses.
I have an aged mint guard on there right now, but also have the original clear guard (it was colored black, but has now been stripped back to clear, still needs to be cleaned more.), and also a plain white guard. I would include all 3 pickguards I have.

I also have the original black 70's case, it's beat up, and I think one latch doesn't quite work properly.

She plays great, and has a lot of punch! and I will probably pull this thread, cause I really do love the bass. But lately, I've been itching for a vintage Jazz bass.

Weight of the bass - somewhere between 8-9 pounds

    Hi,
I have a 2008 Fender "Roadworn Jazz" with a "Roadworn Precision" neck. The best od both worlds.
It plays like butter. I would do my bass and cash on my end. If interested give me you email, I'll send some pictures.

After doing a bit of research online, on what stores are selling these basses for, even for stripped basses with non original pickups,
It has dawned on me that my price is more than fair.

It seems like the vintage market is terrible right now.
I'm gonna close the thread, enjoy the bass for a while longer.

    Thanks for all the interest.

Like I said earlier. It used to be a flowerpower bass.
    I am the third owner.

When the second owner found the bass, the bass had be stripped to bare wood. It was the second owner's decision to have it professionally refinished to Lake placid blue.
The reason we all know it used to be a flower power bass is because when the luthier pulled the string ferrules out to do the refinish, little bits of flower power wall papers was still stuck in there.

    I hope that clarifies.

    Okay, here are updated photos.
My original photos make the blue look a little too fluorescent.
These new photos are closer to the actual color... although my lighting isn't the greatest.

Nut width is definitely 1.75 for those who'd like to know.
