1968 LPB Telecaster Bass in "The Fender Bass: An Illustrated History"

    I was looking at that book and I'm really wondering about that LBP Telecaster bass from 1968. Was it a special order? How many were made in LPB? I just think it's the coolest bass, and: I just bought that Squier 50's Precision in LPB...maybe mine will age and look as great...dy.

    I saw a Sherwood Green Tele Bass on eBay a few years back. Oval tuners, maple cap neck. Not too many of those made, I'll wager.
