It 's been a while I am looking for a PB from 1969 my birth year. And I noticed something funny. At least on three or four examples of PB 69 that were put on the market the last three years, here, or in Europe (Andy Baxter for example), all of them had there neck stamps date of "5 JUN69B"
One last example, the one as "new arrival" at Baxter
Andy Baxter Bass & Guitars Ltd
I mean what is the probability that all the PB from that year that are sold on the net these days have their neck made the same day? I think it is 0%
or that year at Fender, one worker who was bored that day, asked himself "what can I do today? Oh Let's stamps this dozens of necks that were made a while ago?":)

The '5' means it's a P bass neck, not the day of the month.

Again, thank you very much, this is appreciated. This was confusing to me, because in France, 5JUNE would be exactly the writing for June 5th
