    Original 1970 Dan Armstrong Ampeg Lucite Bass

    Very good condition

    All original, except for top strap peg. With original Ess & Ess case.

    Almost no fret wear

    No damage to the pickguard

    No cracking or flaking on the pickup's brown coating

    Original knobs

    Has an extra strap peg hole on the lower horn

    Has a small hole in the middle of the back of the headstock.

    Back of neck is in very good condition.

    $50 for shipping within the continental US.

    May be picked up in northern NJ, near NYC's George Washington Bridge.

    Great bass, best condition I've seen in one for sale besides the one I own!

    oh dear god why did I open this thread?

    Nice bass. What's the deal with that hole in the back of the headstock?

    The hole is the work of the previous owner. I don't know why he made it. It's benign.

    if you have one absolutely bone stock and in excellent condition, hang on to it as long as you can. very, very, few like that left.
