1970 P-Bass with Transition Logo

Hello my fellow bass men and women. I bought a 1970 P-Bass where the neck stamp and serial numbers check out, but it has a transition era logo. I have not seen a transition logo on a 1970 precision.

Has anyone heard of this?

The "precision" is also worn off. I was a bit turned off by this, but after speaking to the seller and confirming the serial number and neck stamp I got comfortable it was the real deal.

I got the bass yesterday, and it is divine (plays like butta).
