Just trying to pay down some debt here so making some tough choices. This is a great 1972 P with a 1.625 nut. Pickup was non original when I bought it. I replaced it with a David Allen CS1088 which is, I think, the same pickup used in the Bluesman Vintage basses. Great mix of 60s warmth with a bit of the 70s high end sweetness mixed in. Truss rod works as it should. The end cap for the truss was replaced with an Allen key nut. I have the bass set up with low action. No ski ramping but high frets are worn so it should have a fret job if that's where you earn your money. Everything below 15 plays great. Selling for $1750 or possibly entertaining trades/partial trades. Looking for a less valuable P, maybe a used Bluesman vintage or Nate Mendel. Maybe a fretless jazz or just fretless neck. Always interested in US Laklands. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401754452.034263. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401754466.665730.

Here's a few after the new pickup was installed. Also, bonus thumb rest was removed and holes filled. Still have both original covers too for bridge and pickup ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401852790.983917. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401852805.250032.

Couple of the replaced truss screw. Works better than the original. No stripping and it can be adjusted without removing the neck ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401852871.765859. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1401852889.865710.

Again. Not an all original bass thus the price that is basically body and neck. The David Allen is amazing but if someone wants the old school white Dimarzio it was pretty sweet too. Had a bit more crunch to it kinda like the new EMG Geezer but old school dirty
