Great vintage Jazz. All original (except for the nut). Very nice condition for it's age, with a little finish wear and some dings and scratches here and there, but lookin' good still. The neck is straight, truss rod works good. Frets are original with only very minor wear. Action is low and very playable all over the neck! The nut is cut for a little bit narrower string spacing than usual. It still feels really nice though. Either way, it's cheap and easy to replace if you prefer wider spacing, and it's not the original nut anyways. The neck has 4 extra "pilot" holes in the heel. They are not threaded, so they've never been used. I've personally seen a half a dozen or so '70s Fender necks with extra pilot holes in them, so it's not too uncommon. These holes most likely mean these necks were mis-drilled when they were being built in the factory, then re-drilled when they were mated to a body. Since they aren't visible when the neck is mounted, it was never a quality control issue. Anyways, it's a very well-taken care of, fantastic playing and sounding, original vintage Fender... and one of the last 4-bolt Jazzes! I believe it's an ash body, but it's pretty light at 9.5 lbs. Awesome vintage Jazz tone. Comes with the original case which is in pretty nice shape. One of the latches is broken, but the Fender logo is still there.
