SOLD 1974 Rickenbacker 4001 Excellent condition

    Hello. This is a beautiful, all original, clean Rickenbacker 4001 Bass guitar.
    Has the plexi Rickenbacker headstock nameplate, and red side dots, which I believe were only produced on models in 1974.
    The only thing not included is the bridge cover.
    Comes with original case. Weighs a little over 9 pounds. Very comfortable to play while standing for long periods of time.
    There is some minor surface buckle rash, which I tried to photograph in one of the pics below, and there is also some wear at the top of the pickguard from where someone's thumb sat for years! :)
    All hardware is original with a light tarnish. Very pleasing to the eye and to the touch.
    Neck is nice and straight. Never had to adjust it, and the previous owner of 20 years never adjusted it either.

    Hmm That's the 2nd '74 that popped up here today. Personally I think both you guys are nuts for selling them. Mine's a '74 as well.

    Never really been a fan of natural finish basses, but that is a real looker. Very nice!!!!!
