    Unfortunately I am only able to play short-scale basses these days and I will set a very reasonable price for this classic beauty with original hard-shell case. It is a bit 'neck heavy' so a wider guitar strap is advised. Has minor body dings and some finish checkering/cracking as normally expected. There is one good ding on the back of the neck as well. The bass reads just under 10 lbs. on my old bathroom scale.

    All original? Looks like a newer pickguard.

    I bought it from a reputable shop that sold it as all original. The wear on the pickguard looks normal and you can tell someone adjusted the truss rod without taking the pickguard off. The neck is straight and the action is pretty low. I have had it for about 10 years and only changed the strings a few times. I think it sounds good with old flatwounds, I recorded directly into my computer with no pre-amp. Not interested in trades. Thanks !

    i know people say a lot of stuff about 70's fenders, but something about this one....

    looks tasty. i'm far from an expert but it looks like a good price.

    What is the neck width at the nut?

    It is thick....around 1 and 11/16" at the nut. That would put it at a B style neck I believe.
