Edit: gonna drop the price on this one to $1600.

I never thought I'd sell this one. This is a 1975 "A" Neck Precision bass with a Dimarzio pickup. It has an amazingly strong output with lots of Highs for a P bass. The neck is the coveted "A" neck Jazz bass width and is incredibly fast. This has been the best Precision I have ever had. Just selling for financial reasons.

I'm pretty sure it's a refinish but it's an old refinish. It has mellowed to a lovely butter color.

The finish on the back of the neck is mostly worn off but is still on the front. Feels great.

The pickup is a Dimarzio. I don't know how old it is but it sounds beautiful. Very high output.

As far as I know the tuners are original. The G string tuner is slightly bent but works fine. Must have taken a whack at some point.

The truss rod adjusts as it should. Works perfectly

    Has a brass nut

    The bridge is original.

The knobs appear to be original

The pick guard is not. The decal will peel off easily.

The case is an old SKB. Not original obviously.

As far as weight goes, I've never weighed it. It's not one of those 70's boat anchors but it has a little heft. Maybe in the 9.5-10 range. It's not too bad.

It's a fantastic player grade old Fender that plays and sounds amazing and I hate selling it. It's so punk it's cool. You won't be disappointed.

Killer price. If only this had a chunkier neck. I'd be all over it. What a beaut. Good luck with the sale.

Sweeeet. Tuners are newer, but that means little. Are the pots original?

As far as I know they are. I guess I haven't really opened it up.
