    For sale 2 fantastic short scale basses. I use them both frequently, but i have gas for a stingray...

    First is a vintage 1977 Univox Hi-Flier Mosrite style bass in very good condition. Someone before me replaced the pickups with Dimarzios and it really sounds great. Fat and punchy all day long. No bad dings or damage - some edge chips. A joy to play!
    $300 shipped conus with the neck off

    Second is the Hagstrom hb8 eight string bass. Previously owned by Pat DiNizio, lead singer of the Smithereens. Near perfect condition and really fills up the sound of a power trio! Comes with an extra set of strings and in the original hard bag/case.

    Just wondering... Univox still available? While this last post LOOKS like it was posted 19 minutes ago, the info on your last post says it was Nov 1st. So, I am confused...

    Uni is just a smidge over 7 lbs! Nice and light, a shortie that punches like a long scale. Perfect for those long gigs
