All original and very clean 1978/79 Fender Jazz. I acquired this from another TB'r, Il Capo. It is in fantastic shape. Definitely one of the good ones. Unfortunately, due to financial obligations, I have to move this beautiful bass.

Here is the original description from Il Capo:

    - Absolutely marvelous tone that can't be duplicated.
    - Exceptionally light, right around 9.75lbs with minimal finish checking (only on the back, see pics below).
    - Pristine neck, meaty frets, working bullet rod, sets up very well.
    - Unmolested electronics, original solder points, pads beneath original grey-bottom pups are squashed, but original (so I don't want to replace them)
    - Neck pocket not the tightest, but I've seen worse
    - Beautiful faded brown-sunburst over sweet grained ash (which might be a one-piece) w/maple neck and white binding.
    - Authenticity verifiable w/ OHSC (matching serials on headstock and untouched sticker beneath pickguard say 1978, pots say 1979)

    Pot Codes:
    013446 250K A R1377909
    Pocket Stamp:
    FRR 30
Neck Sticker (no stamp at butt):
    FRR 40
    Line #5 R. Govea

    - Has all the original screws, thumbrest and F-bridge cover with mute intact!
    - Replacement chrome pup cover
    - Just had a Pro set-up 1 week ago by Mike Forrester of Forrester Kustoms.
    - Brand New DR Lowrider Strings!

    $2300 OBO + Shipping. Paypal e-check preferred.

Thank for the compliment, Il Capo. The Farrah drawing is not for sale!
  15. That is truly a stunning Jazz. Nowhere near my budget, but I hope you find a buyer.
