SOLD 1978 kramer 450B fretless

For sale or trade a nice condition Kramer 450b fretless. Aluminium neck, solid as a rock! this one has been professionally made fretless with the slots filled. Sounds great and easy to play in tune. There are a couple of oddities; one extra control hole from a previous owner, and a bit of chip near the bridge where apparently someone was routing for a badass 1. The pickup surrounds are tort on one side, black on the other and are not original - these basses originally came with walnut surrounds, but these often cracked. Also, the bridge was slightly crooked (from the factory), but I re-installed it to make it true.

The action is great! These necks don't budge so everything to adjust is on the bridge. Not as much "action juggling" as you'd have on a wooden necked bass.

 

I might add that I'm thinking of putting a lee sklar "producer switch" in the empty hole....
