For sale or trade a nice condition Kramer 450b fretless. Aluminium neck, solid as a rock! this one has been professionally made fretless with the slots filled. Sounds great and easy to play in tune. There are a couple of oddities; one extra control hole from a previous owner, and a bit of chip near the bridge where apparently someone was routing for a badass 1. The pickup surrounds are tort on one side, black on the other and are not original - these basses originally came with walnut surrounds, but these often cracked. Also, the bridge was slightly crooked (from the factory), but I re-installed it to make it true. She's a Vintage USA made beauty and pretty light, too! 9 lbs exactly $650 shipped conus
How's the action on it? I had a '81 Stagemaster and have kicked myself for years over selling it. I am in the market for a sweet fretless, and this is on my interest list.
The action is great! These necks don't budge so everything to adjust is on the bridge. Not as much "action juggling" as you'd have on a wooden necked bass.
