    1979 Guild B301/B302

Serial # dates it to before Sept. 30 1979

    Cool old bass

    Mahogany set neck

Original Schaller tuners and original bridge

At some point long ago, someone installed Dimarzio jazz style pickups, along with a pick guard to match

This is a player bass, that has playing wear and finish cracks/ checks

That being said, it plays great.

    Weighs around 9lbs

    No case

    $450

    Shipping $75
    Add $25 west of Mississippi

    Thanks for looking

***There has been mention of this bass being a B302, I guess it's possible. I don't see someone going through the hassle of installing jazz pickups, controls, and pick guard, and then putting a B301 truss rod cover on it. But, I guess its possible...:eyebrow:***

    Looks like a 302?

Agree, my 301 is a single pickup, 2 controls.

It's a (very nicely) modded B-301. The original front pickup is on 302 is placed way closer to the neck and would've left a sizable hole that wouldn't have been covered by this pickguard.

Also, it's a set neck, not neck through.

Interested. Let me sleep on it and if it sells in the meantime so be it...

Do you have any sound clips? or would you describe the sound please? Jazz bass sound? thin/thick sound? harmonics or more fundamental due to the short scale? Thanks
