Here's a rare bird! A 1980's Hondo Formula 1 Bass It has a Gibson Explorer shaped body, perfect for your inner heavy metal fantasies It is 34" scale with a maple neck and fingerboard, 1 5/8" nut width. Not sure of the body wood. There is some sort of touch up paint applied to the lower horn and a little more below the controls. Not a real professional job, but it doesn't look too bad. The bass has some wear but is overall in good shape. It is strung through the body and has a high mass bridge that's common on Hondo basses. Grover tuning machines. I'm not sure if this bass was made in Japan or Korea. The bass sounds and plays surprisingly good! It has a standard P-type pickup, so it sounds basically like a maple board Precision. Good tone and sustain, neck is good, truss rod works. Decent quality bass. It's also surprisingly comfortable and balanced to play sitting down. Weighs 9.5 lbs. No case but will be packed well for shipping. $350 shipped in the CONUS
