We'll I just purchased a Ric 4003 from Nino Valenti so I must let this beauty go:crying: . For a 1982 bass it is in absolutely pristine shape. The only marks on her are some pic scratches on the guard and some faint ones on the pickup covers...thats it.
Stunning three tone burst. The frets, rosewood board and tuners are mint, electronics are perfect,no scratchy pots or switches. If your into to T40's you know the tones these heavy weights can generate,if not take alook at some of the reviews. Also has the OEM truss rod tool.
I'm asking $375 US with the case, 1/2 the Paypal fees and the insured shipping cost which generally is in the $45 to $60 range depending on the location in N.America:bassist:

I have one almost exactly like that -- only difference is a little more wear.

If you like passive, relatively wider spaced 4-stringers with a lot of tonal variation possibilities, this is a great bass to have.

Around 14-15lbs on the scale..still not as bad as the Gibson RD Artist Bass I had ..16.5 lbs with half a baseball bat for a neck.
Really nice grain on this ash body.

Thanks. I, too, owned an RD Artist. It was a workout just to lift it. I will pass on the T-40, but I am sure it sounds great.
    Here's to selling it.

Actually just weighed the T40 with a new battery in the scale(unless I gained 42 lbs somewhere?)

And you've got to give respect for the case. I had a T40 from back then in natural finish. The case was awesome.
