    Peavey TKO 65
    USA Made.
65 Watt, 15" Bass Combo Amp.

Surprisingly loud and nearly indestructible vintage bass amp. Also good for acoustic and steel guitar. A couple pot cackles but it looks and sounds great. Has 15" Eminence speaker and I've cleaned it up with some black hardware.

    $100
Would consider trade for tremolo, rotary speaker or organ effects pedals.
Also looking for a 1501 BW speaker or an early paper cone 1502.
Local Chicago pickup or nearby exchange only.

My very first bass amp (1986?) was a TKO-65. I never appreciated how good it was until I sold it to fund an SWR Workingman’s 112. The Peavey was louder and sounded better!

Thanks for the good words folks.

    To everyone else,
You're not going to find some thing that sounds this good or puts out as much volume for $100 anywhere. Plus it will last forever so you're basically buying an heirloom piece!
