I have a 1983 Ibanez Roadstar II that looks like this.[IMG]

Any other TB'ers own one of these? I know that Bovinehost (also a TB'er and Pitter) used to own one and I know of a guy in Australia that used to own one but it seems to me that this bass has become EXTREMELY rare. I don't ever even see these on EBAY.

I'm just curious. I wish I could find out how many Ibanez made and so forth but even the Vintage Ibanez sites give zero info on these.

I know I have other photos of it somewhere, but yup, I surely did own one and actually did some recording with it. Great little bass, especially considering what I paid for it.

I had one of those too. Wish I still did. It was a nice bass.

Oh, man, that's exactly like the first good bass I owned! That blueburst is gorgeous.

Roadstars are really cool. I hope to find one like it again someday.
