I dated it to this range of years, serial number starts with an E and has 6 digits. Maple neck and fret board, some wear on the edges of the fret board, the finish is wearing thin. I can't fell it while playing the bass. On that note, the bass looks good from the front, a few shallow marks on the front. Around the sides are some more knicks and a few knicks on the back of the horns. Electronics are great, no scratchy pots, hardware is great. This bass plays and sounds sweet. I will take $450 plus shipping, shipping can be cheap if you allow me to take the neck off.

These are crappy cell pics, I may be able to borrow my girlfriends camera and get better pics. My phone doesn't have a flash even so some funny lighting on some of these pics.

Here is a more thorough description that I just sent to someone:

The neck is straight. On the edges of the neck, some of the finish is coming off. It isn't where you play, i can't feel it when playing. The frets are in great shape, a lot of life. Knicks and gouges are mainly around the sides, between the front and back. A little bit of wood is exposed, not a lot. Some shallow marks and a bump on the front of the bass, if you were playing it, your right arm covers it most of the time. From 3 feet away, in decent light, you can't really see anything. Pretty much, this is a great bass to take on tour if your touring in a van, and space is precious or you play some bars where you don't want your new bass going to risk an accident. You can put it in a gig bag and go. It sound GREAT, is reliable and already has a few dings so you don't have to constantly worry about it. It's a player for sure. If you pretty much play at home mostly AND mint condition is what you desire, this isn't that bass.
