Up for grabs is my 1987 Stingray, 2-band eq, Rosewood board, serial#025838. I wont use phrases like "its the best bass I have ever owned" or "my favorite bass of all time." I will say this bass has served me well and sounds fantastic, like a great 2-band should. I would say the bass is in good condition with some scuffs, dings and blemishes on the body(see photos). Full disclosure: -Truss rod works freely -Tuners can use a lube but turn fine -9.5 lbs -I bought a new pickguard at the same place Ernie Ball uses(Pickguard Planet) and as you can see in the photo, it needs to be "shaved" down a bit because it was made a bit too small( I bought this bass without a guard so no original). Ernie Ball doesnt stock non-truss wheel pickguards anymore FYI.. -One pickguard screw is non-original since screws were not included -I set the action a bit higher because I didnt want buzz, serving as a fingerstyle bass, not a slapper. -I havent done anything with the string mutes since I dont use them. -Hard case is non-original and is in good condition with wear, but latches are fine. I have gigged this bass a few times and it just kills and slays everything I've tested it on, mainly disco and funk. Shipping included within CONUS. I just want to try something different, but no trades since I am not sure whats next. Thanks and PM with questions.
Same here. I had a bass for sale here for weeks- something somewhat desirable, and at a price way below what they were averaging. And mine was mint. Nothing. Put it up on reverb and it sold for MORE than I expected in literally under 24 hours.
