This was as good as got from Fender in 1991...Stuart Hamm Urge bass in the highly desirable Lake Placid Blue, the JPJ pickups and Geoff Richardson designed Kubicki 9v preamp will give you more great tones than you'll know what to do with! 32" scale, LIGHT!-under 8 lbs with the gold HipShot bridge, about 7.6 with the stock bridge, frets in great shape, pau ferro slab board, some subtle flame in the neck, if you have ever played a pre-Fender Philip Kbicki Ex Factor bass, this is the exact same feel, with the nut width at 1.60, and a flat, fast radius. Alder body, electronics are stacked volume/ pan between the J's, stacked bass/ treble, and a 4 position rotary switch (passive+ active /active with mid boost, adjustable via trim pit n the cavity/ standby). The 3 position microswitch controls the P pickup (off/ P on with the J's/ P solo'd). Condition-wise, I'd rate it at 8/10, not museum quality, but certainly not a road dog. There are a few impressions on the top, the most aggregious are in the pics, but nothing through the paint, and no buckle rash. It has been played, but very well cared for. And it looks COOL on stage! And, given the weight, a pleasure to play....and man, can you RIP on this thing!! My gig situation is changing, so this snarling wolverine of a bass needs a new home. The last pic is pretty much the true color... Shipped price $925 with HipShot bridge and D tuner, original equipment ncluded in a gig bag.
Crap, I just unloaded an American Standard P Bass I would've gladly traded for this, just my luck lol GLWTS
