SOLD 1992 Korean Squier Precision Bass Aged White $160

Korean made Squier Precision. N2XXXXX serial number. maple fretboard, neck has a nice feel to it. This has a normal sized heel, I have found that some other Korean squiers (specifically E series Squier II's) are not as wide at the heel and are too skinny to fit a normal neck pocket.

original body has yellowed to a beautiful yellow tint. comes with original white pickguard. In these photos i placed a brownish-red tortoise shell guard on which looks excellent in my opinion. the guard did not line up so well but i have NOT drilled any new holes. i will leave that up to the new owner or i could carefully fill-n-drill holes prior to shipping if you would like. currently only 4 screws holding pickguard on, but i will include all the original screws with the sale. this could have that "London Calling" look with a black pickguard, very cool.

minimal fretwear and very few dings or nicks in the body. some of the frets stick out a teeny bit over the edge of the fretboard but not so sharp that it will slice off your finger! fretboard has a "road worn" look that is totally natural, although this is only dirt and grime on the fretboard, not due to excessive wear. I wiped clean a couple frets and it cleans up nicely. I will clean it if it would help with the sale, otherwise i think it looks better that way, honestly. also some sticker residue on the upper horn, which unlike the fretboard grime, ill admit doesnt add anything to the aesthetics of this bass. neck has a smooth satin finish rather than the sticky gloss finish of some other Korean models.

upgraded the pots to CTS although they are the kind with the white plastic shafts. no knobs because the shafts are a little too wide to fit the original knobs but at least the shafts compliment the body color. i would also be willing to change pots and include some knobs, i probably have some Alpha pots lying around

Pickups are newer Squier pickups, i dont have the originals but i may consider working out a deal to install some better pickups.

no case but will be packed securely. gig bag negotiable.

overall a very cool looking, punk rock P-bass on the cheap.
