This is a gorgeous and versatile medium-scale (32") instrument that accepts regular long-scale strings (because of the string-through bridge). It is very light (probably 8.4 lbs.) and very comfortable to play whether standing or sitting.

This bass is in excellent-to-mint condition with no known issues. There are some scratches/missing paint on the neck plate but nowhere else on the body or neck that I can see. The frets show no signs of degradation. These babies are becoming quite difficult to find, especially in such stellar shape. You will definitely look impressive on stage with this Custom Shop-level beauty sporting a vast array of sounds: Precision and Jazz are only the beginning!
    • Scale: 32"
    • Fingerboard: Pau Ferro
    • Color: Sherwood Green Metallic
    • Pickguard: Pearloid
    • Frets: 24
    • Inlays: None (looks cool)
    • Neck Profile: Asymmetrical
    • Body: Downsized/modified Precision style
    • Body Wood: Alder
    • Pickups: JPJ
    • Neck Finish: Satin
    • Neck wood: Maple
    • Bridge: Fender Deluxe Brass String-Through
    • Micro-Tilt Neck Heel Adjustment: Yes
    • Tuners: Black Gotoh GB7
Later in this thread, you will find an article from Bass Player (September 1992) about this instrument, the very first Signature Artist model from Fender’s Custom Shop—and who can resist that matching headstock face!

    Price includes shipping to CONUS.

Do you have any photos of the back of the bass?

Added a photo of the back of the bass per Basstard’s request. As you can see, just a bit of the black paint has come off of the neck plate but that is really the only sign of wear that I can detect anywhere on the bass. The pickguard has yellowed a bit but I rather like that effect and I think you will too.
