1st Generation Bolton Warwick! 93 was the 1st year of the Streamer Bolton, and this bass is Feb of 94. New Year changes went into effect in March, so...

Cherry wood body, Non-Volute Maple neck with Wenge Stingers, Gold Hardware, Duncan recessed strap locks, and MEC pickups and 2-Band PreAmp make this an exceptional example of the Warwick Golden Era. The OHSC is only Icing on the Cake! Tipping the scales at just under 9 Lbs (Feels lighter on the strap!) this Classic will get you through the Longest nights. This beauty is in exceptional condition considering her age, and that she has been Played.

Known as the Warwick for those who Hate the Warwick Sound, the Streamer is a Brighter sounding bass. But there is still plenty of Warwick Growl. The Cherry wood bodies were a short lived feature. Maple and Bubinga replaced these early Streamers and Thumbs in 95. (Let the Arguments begin!)

  2. I owned a very similar instrument way back. Got it from Edwin McCain's bass guitarist. It had been converted to fretless, and was among the best basses I ever owned. It was stolen at the first gig it saw. I never saw it again. I play a 1990 Stage I fretless 5 now, but the old Cherry Bolts are legendary. Great price! Killer instrument. glwts...

  4. Glad to hear, Mr Anthony. Those basses are keepers. The necks are among Warwick's best.

Great year for Warwicks. I used to have a '94 fretless. Modeled the fretless I built loosely off it...cherry body and all. GLWTS!
