This used to be mine! I had it from 96 to 08. I have recorded with it and gigged with it and it never failed me once. Whoever gets this is getting a SWEET BASS.

Here it is in action a few years ago:

It pains me to see it on the market so soon! And I wish I could buy it back!

But I'm lovin' the DD I traded for it, that's for sure!

  4. Oh my god that's beautiful - hmmm, two months rent, or the most awesome Sterling I've ever seen....ahg

    Sweet Lord, that neck!

Currently not in the market (waiting for an HH Ray), but OMG at $1K in this condition this thing is a steal. Betcha it's gone before the weekend.

Courtesy bump... not interested in the bass myself, but it is so gorgeous I would love to help it find a good home.

Thanks all, I wish I could keep it, really do. It's gorgeous, light & absolutely kills!
I'll kick myself when it's gone I know that much for sure, but I need to fund another bass.

Enlighten me please... I notice the 5-bolt neck. Is that still the standard for the EBMM Sterlings today, or has that changed since this one was built?

  9. :crying:

    To be out of cash....

Sure you don't want to trade? I have a nice MIA Fender Jazz with some upgrades :D

I'm not the best authority in that arena, but I bet they would know here!

Always been 5-bolt on the Sterling. Until the late 90s the neck plate was recessed into the body, now the plate is on the surface like a Fender. I love my '95, but this is the nicest looking Sterling I've ever seen, string mutes and all. Wish I had the grand.

  12. PM sent. I'm semi-local too:D
