Cruising a local pawnshop, I encountered a short-scale Squier Precision Bass, labeled "Made in Korea," with a gold 'Squier' logo and a 'VN7' serial number prefix. I can tell it's a 1997, but I can't find anything online regarding a short scale Precision. Finish is a dark-reddish brown that I believe is called 'Burgundy,' and it has a rosewood board and a standard split P-bass pickup. Wasn't too heavy or too light. Thinking about it for a travel bass, and I can get it out the door with bag for $85. Anybody seen one of these?

Ringing a distant bell. If you like it and it plays/sounds good, don't hesitate. Does it have sealed tuners by any chance?
